Left Atrial Appendage Management & Stroke Prevention

Mr Adrian Pick recently presented at the Australasian Stroke Academy’s Annual Meeting in Melbourne, speaking on the topic of Left Atrial Appendage Exclusion. His presentation explored the role this procedure may play in selected patients at risk of stroke related to atrial fibrillation, and highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary decision-making in managing stroke prevention.
